A 49-year-old man is in jail after a break-in at a home in the west end of St. John’s.

Police were called the home around 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Responding officers were able to make their way into the home through the front door which had been damaged.

The suspect was found inside the home and was arrested for break and enter.

He was held for court.
