RNC are searching for a man wanted for assault and other violent charges.
Police responded to a home in Portugal Cove-St. Philips on Boxing Day where a woman had been assaulted by someone she knew.
The suspect fled the area before police arrived.
RNC say 41-year-old Christopher Michael Tucker is wanted on charges of assault, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, damage to property and break and enter.
Tucker is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes.
Police warn that Tucker should not be approached and may be armed. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the RNC at 1-800-222-8477.
