The RCMP and RNC are creating a new Joint Forces Operation Team to tackle repeat criminal activity, like drug activity and serial break-ins.

Assistant Commissioner Pat Cahill says they’re hopeful that the team will address some of the types of crime that residents are noticing in their communities.

“We’re hoping that once we get this team up and running, that that will go into places like CBN and help dismantle and disrupt that type of crime. The old saying goes “80 per cent of crime is done by 20 per cent of the people, so that does hold true.”
