The deadline for ticket sales on the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association’s Dream Home Lottery is near.

All the early bird deadlines have come and gone so the last chance to get in on the action is midnight tonight.

The dream home, located on 79 Pepperwood Drive in St. John’s, is turn-key with all the trimmings says Terry Martin of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association Newfoundland and Labrador.

He notes that the home comes totally decorated.

“We have great sponsors such as Blueprint Homes, Cohens, decorator Maxine Tucker, Toyota Plaza, and others,” says Martin.

The 50/50 component was hovering around the $800,000 range this morning. Last year’s draw was worth $963,000.

“Who knows? We may even surpass that tally,” says Martin, “or perhaps even exceed a million. That’s definitely a life-changer.”
