All three cities in the province will have an automated system for garbage collection as of tomorrow as Corner Brook moves to a collection model adopted a few years ago by Mount Pearl and St. John’s. Many large towns now use the system as well.
It makes for cleaner streets as garbage is always in a bin and out of reach of animals
City council will provide an update on automated garbage collection at its first meeting of the new year tomorrow night.
