An SUV that caught the attention of RCMP has been seized after being deemed unsafe.
The vehicle was stopped on the highway near Lethbridge on the Bonavista Peninsula yesterday afternoon because it appeared to be unfit for the road.
The Dodge Nitro was missing the driver’s side door handle, had extensive rust and body damage, and a back window that was taped over with a black bag.
The 47-year-old man driving the vehicle, which was towed away, was ticketed for not having the proper insurance.
