The Dominion grocery store in Grand Falls-Windsor is back open following a fire last night.

Police warned people to stay away from the store Saturday evening while officials worked to contain the area.

In a social media post, the grocery store thanked crews for the cleanup and repairs to make the reopening happen.

A fire inside the building of the Dominion grocery store in Grand Falls-Windsor as prompted the RCMP to advise people to avoid area of Cromer Avenue while emergency crews respond.

Police and firefighters are on scene, and the area is being secured to allow crews to work safely.
