The occupants of a vehicle that failed to stop for police in Placentia have each been charged for violating their court-ordered curfews.
A police officer attempted to pull an uninsured vehicle over on the main road in Placentia last Sunday evening.
The vehicle wouldn’t stop, but was eventually found parked outside a home a short time later.
The driver, 34-year-old Krae Taylor, was under a court-imposed release order preventing him from leaving his residence at certain times. He was also prohibited from driving or sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
The passenger, 33-year-old Stephen Leonard, was also under a court-imposed release order to remain in his home during designated hours.
Taylor is now facing charges of flight from police and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Leonard is facing three counts of breaching a release order. They were remanded to custody to appear in court today.
