A 43-year-old woman, arrested for impaired driving, is in even more trouble after allegedly causing damage to police equipment during her arrest.
RCMP in New-Wes-Valley had picked the woman up for impaired driving after receiving a tip from the public on Saturday afternoon.
Officers caught up with the woman at her home and took her into custody, but during the arrest, police say the woman became combative and caused damage to their equipment.
Breath samples taken at the detachment were above the legal limit.
The woman has been charged with impaired driving and damage to property. She’s scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
