The town of CBS is celebrating the winter season and all it has to offer with a full week of activities for Winterfest starting today.

Mayor Darrin Bent says a whole range of events are planned, some of which are already sold out.

Bent says his favourite activity is a free pancake breakfast tomorrow morning.

He and his council colleagues will be serving free pancakes to the public tomorrow morning from 8:00 to 11:00. He calls it a great community event, where you often see people you only get to see once or twice a year, and he really looks forward to it.”
