A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged following a reported assault in the city last night.
RNC were called about an assault with a weapon at a home on McKay Street just after 10:00 last night.
Police arrested Ryan Fowler and charged him with assault with a weapon, assault, uttering threats, and breaches.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Fowler was held in custody to appear in court today.
