RNC responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision near the Dominion Old Placentia Road over the lunch hour.

The mishap resulted in a traffic slowdown in the area while first responders tended to the scene.

RNC say the pedestrian did not appear to have any injuries, but was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The investigation is ongoing.
