When Brad Gushue officially hangs up his broom at the end of this year, a group of some of his most ardent fans will retire along with him.
The so-called “Gushue Girls” of Gander have been following Brad’s professional career since 2016.
Sporting specially-made t-shirts that spell out his name, they are among the loudest and most enthusiastic fans in the stands.
Almost Game time! We’ll be cheering loud and long! Let’s get ‘er done boys! Go @TeamGushue Go! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥌🥌🥌

Jeanne Collins says all six of them are curlers themselves who have been ardent Gushue fans for some time.
She says they’ll retire when Brad retires, but they’ll be ready to dust off their shirts as they keep a close eye on his daughter Hayley.
“We’re going to hang on to the shirts,” says Collins, “and should a real Gushue girl make it to a Scotties sometime, which is definitely a possibility, who knows?”
