A 30-year-old man who was driving with a novice licence he earned only a few days ago was pulled over on the Trans Canada Highway for driving at speeds more than 80 km over the speed limit.
RCMP say the westbound driver was clocked near Soldier’s Pond around 11:30 Thursday morning at speeds of up to 181 km/h.
The licence he earned only a couple of days earlier was suspended and the car he was driving was seized.
