A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recent police seizure of cocaine, pills and other items in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

RCMP searched a home on Brett Street on Wednesday and seized a quantity of cocaine and suspected opioids, as well as paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Craig Best, who is facing charges of trafficking, was released on conditions.

He’s scheduled to return to court next month.

The investigation continues.
