The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation’s manufacturing division was busy in the 3rd quarter of the year.
Bruce Keating, President and CEO of the NLC, says they also produced 5,000 cases of ready-to-drink items, wine and beer, an increase of 67 per cent. He says the increase is due to new products and production contracts. They now export to over 30 countries.
Formerly Rock Spirits, the manufacturing arm produced 76,000 cases of spirits in the third quarter, an increase of 19 per cent of the same period a year earlier.
“That’s good news for the manufacturing team, and good news for the province,” says Keating.
