A man is facing assault charges after a disturbance at a home in Mount Pearl last night.
Officers were called to the home just after 8:00 and found a woman with injuries.
A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene on charges of assault causing bodily harm and resisting arrest.
He was held for court.
