A 29-year-old woman spent the night in the lockup after a break-in at a home in Conception Bay South.

The homeowner phoned RNC around 7:45 last evening to report that a woman, who was known to him, had forced her way inside the house.

The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody on a charge of break and enter.
