The RNC has arrested and charged a 33-year-old man in connection with the assault of two people in the centre city area last week.

Police were called last Thursday evening after a man with a weapon assaulted two people. He fled the scene before officers arrived.

There were no injuries.

Tyler Reid was arrested on Saturday and charged with two counts each of assault, assault with a weapon and one charge each of uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He’s also facing an unrelated charge of being unlawfully at large.
