The agency which runs the health care system is making changes to the personal profiles of patients, but some people are citing inaccuracies under their name.

NLHS says MyHealthNL is now being powered by MyChart. It means people will be able to see more of their health information from their computer or phone.

It says the introduction of MyChart means the patient experience will become simpler, faster, and more connected at every step of care.

As of now, people can go to their profile and do many things, including viewing test results and how to prepare for tests, checking in electronically for appointments instead of lining up, checking wait times at emergency departments, and confirming or cancelling appointments.

On social media yesterday, some people complained that the information contained in their profile was significantly inaccurate.
