Those who run our sports programs in Newfoundland and Labrador have launched a campaign to wipe out racism on playing surfaces and in the stands. .
Noting that this province has a large Indigenous population and a growing number of newcomers, Sport Newfoundland and Labrador is working to creating a culture where everyone feels safe in sport, no mater their background.

“Do Your Part: Stop Racism In Sport” encourages athletes, coaches, parents, officials and others to work as a team to counter hate and discrimination.
Troy Croft, the executive director of the umbrella agency, says people in sport have a collective responsibility to speak out and expose racism.
