Among the promised items missing from this year’s budget was the rotational worker tax credit.

Finance Minister Craig Pardy acknowledged that there were a number of promised initiatives not included in this year’s fiscal plan, but he says they’re coming.

“Do we have everything in there? No, we don’t. Are some things easier to put in there than others? Yes they are.” He says anything to do with tax relief requires working with the federal government and the CRA.

Pardy told the Board of Trade on Friday that if the price of oil remains elevated, more affordability measures could be coming later this year.
