Government House Leader Lloyd Parrott admits that an AI- altered image depicting a woman with six fingers on one hand was “a mistake.”

The image, which is associated with an ad promoting the RSV vaccine for seniors, shows a woman with her arm crossed across her body and what appears to be extra digits on one hand.

The Opposition’s Sarah Stoodley asked about the image during Question Period.

Stoodley says just a week after a minister had to delete an AI-generated image of The Rooms, out comes the promotional poster. Minister Parrott says the image was a mistake, but admonished the Liberals for previously published reports using AI-generated sources.
