A 22-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving after the pickup she was driving slammed into a home on Bareneed Road in Bay Roberts, causing extensive damage.
RCMP were called around 8:00 p.m. last Friday.
Police say the driver was not injured, but showed signs of intoxication and failed a roadside breath test.
The pickup, which was heavily damaged, was seized, and the woman’s licence was suspended.
She’s set to appear in court in August on impaired driving charges.
