Despite numerous attempts, Opposition Leader John Hogan could not get answers from government about whether the experts consulted as part of the review panel’s examination of the Churchill Falls MOU will be named.
The review panel claimed to have consulted with more than 300 experts in its analysis of the MOU, but no names have been provided.
For more than 20 minutes, Hogan questioned the government side of the House for answers.
He asked the finance minister whether government is saying “trust us,” instead of supplying that information.
“Absolutely not” was Minister Craig Pardy’s emphatic reply.
