The provincial government says no tickets were issued as a result of its school bus stop arm pilot project last year.
The program was first announced last August.
Buses in Corner Brook, Gander, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador West, Marystown and Paradise were equipped with a camera that would activate when the stop arm is extended.
The goal of the pilot was to catch people who illegally pass school buses.
In a statement to VOCM News, government says no tickets were issued during the pilot, which ran from September to December.
They say the pilot was restarted after the Easter break this year, and will continue until December with the goal of collecting more data to determine the next steps.
