Transportation Minister Barry Petten is hoping to have an update on the search for a Chief Pilot for the province’s waterbomber fleet as early as today.
Concerns were raised last week after the former Chief Pilot resigned.
Minister Petten provided the update in response to Opposition Leader John Hogan during Question Period yesterday.
Petten indicated that the province was “very close” to securing a new Chief Pilot, and that the details are being worked on with an update possible today.
