A 36-year-old man was arrested after pulling a weapon on a taxi driver instead of paying the fare.
Police were called just around 10:00 last night, after several men left a taxi without paying near University Avenue.
Police say one of the suspects pulled out an “edged weapon” before leaving the taxi.
RNC caught up with the group a short while later, and the 36-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was held to see a judge.
