A child was airlifted to hospital in St. John’s following a collision between a dirt bike and a vehicle near Bonavista on the weekend.
The RCMP says the accident happened in Spillars Cove around 2:00 Saturday afternoon.
The child’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
