Gunshots rang out over Paradise last night, prompting police to descend on walking trails which were very near residential homes.

People reported hearing four gunshots in the Carlisle Drive area early in the evening. RNC covered the trails on foot and arrested a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman. They seized a .22 caliber rifle and ammunition.

The two have been charged with breaching just about every firearms regulation in the book as that trail is very close to homes, schools and other walking trails. .

The woman was released to appear later while the man was held for court.
