Two teenagers who ignored many of the basic rules regarding the operation of all-terrain vehicles have been cited by the law.
RNC officers spotted the pair on a machine going down Clyde Avenue in Donovan’s Industrial Park in the wee hours Saturday morning. They caught up with the ATV in a cul-de-sac.
The 17-year-old boy who was driving had no insurance or driver’s license, and was also ticketed for operating an ATV on a roadway. His passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was not wearing a helmet.
Police seized the machine.
