A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday in the town of Grand Falls-Windsor to celebrate the re-opening of the upgraded tennis courts.
Funded through Tennis Canada and the National Bank Play Your Court Program, the six courts were given a $100,000 makeover which included new nets, windscreens, resurfacing, and other improvements.
Mayor Mike Browne says the new courts “will serve residents of all ages for years to come and help encourage healthy, active living.”
