The Trans Canada Highway near Steady Brook has since reopened after a spill sent dry concrete across a 2 km stretch of highway.
It appears as though a truck carrying dry concrete mix lost some of its load.
The highway was temporarily closed while officials worked to clear the debris.
It has since reopened to traffic.

Traffic is being re-routed through Marble Drive as officials work to clean up dried concrete spilled on the road.
Drivers are being asked to use caution and follow the director of first responders at the site.
