The thunder rolled, and there was a lightning strike in downtown St. John’s yesterday as thunderstorms rolled through the region.
There were loud claps of thunder and lightning lit up the sky late yesterday afternoon throughout the metro area.

Hiscock Rentals and Sales shared a photo to social media showing a lightning bolt striking down on Southside Road.
The caption on the photo indicates that the bolt struck the fishing vessel L’Acadie, however that information has not been confirmed.
