A man is without his licence and vehicle after police clocked him at nearly 100 km/h over the speed limit on Saturday.
The vehicle was pulled over on the Road to the Isles in Lewisporte just before 4:30 p.m.
Police say the car was travelling at speeds up to 158 km/h, and the radar registered the vehicle at 154 km/h. The speed limit in the area is 60 km/h.
The driver, a 54-year-old man from Campbellton, was ticketed for excessive speed.
His license was suspended and vehicle impounded.
