A 41-year-old man has a date with the court for getting behind the wheel after having too much to drink.
RCMP on patrol in the Codroy Valley became suspicious after witnessing a car crawling along late Saturday night.
Officers noticed signs of impairment from the driver who ended up failing the roadside screening.
He was arrested and taken to the police station in Port aux Basques where he provided breath samples above the legal limit.
He was released to appear in court in September. His license was seized and vehicle impounded.
