Three men have been charged after allegedly assaulting their partners during three separate incidents in the metro region yesterday.

The first happened just before 9:00 yesterday morning after police were called to a home in the west end of St. John’s.

RNC arrested a 39-year-old man on charges of assault by choking, assault causing bodily harm and violence against an intimate partner.

Around 7:00 last evening, police rushed to an incident at a business on Topsail Road where a 44-year old was taken into custody for an assault.

He faces charges of violence against an intimate partner, assault and two counts of breach of release order.

Around the same time, officers in CBS were dealing with a disturbance involving a 58-year-old man and his partner. He was taken into custody on charges of assault and violence against an intimate partner.

All three men were held to appear in court.
