The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax has released video of a recent medical evacuation from a remote fishing camp in central Newfoundland.
Unable to land in the heavily wooded area, SAR techs from the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron were lowered to the ground and the patient was removed on a specialized stretcher.
The CH-149 Cormorant transported the patient to Clarenville for further treatment.
