Coast Guard inshore rescue boat stations in the province are winding down their seasonal maritime search and rescue services.
The stations in CBS, Terra Nova National Park and Notre Dame Bay will close as of midnight tonight.
The stations are staffed by post-secondary students to provide additional search and rescue services during the summer season.
Seasonal stations will remain open until December 31st depending on weather and ice conditions, while year-round stations will remain open.
