A 45-year-old man, who was wanted on a province-wide warrant, was arrested by police in Gander Tuesday night.

RCMP say the man’s vehicle, which was parked on Magee Road and obstructing traffic, caught the attention of officers around 9:40 that evening.

The driver was unable to provide valid insurance or registration documents, and police subsequently learned that his licence had been suspended.

Police checks confirmed that the driver was wanted on an arrest warrant and he was taken into custody.
