Corner Brook Regional High was placed on lockdown earlier today after RNC received a report of online threats against the school.
Officers were able to quickly locate a person of interest in another area of town.
The investigation is continuing, however police say it appears that a direct threat was not made and the person was not in possession of a weapon.
Officers will be on scene continuing their investigation, and there is no risk to public safety.
