Skills Canada has a number of events for high school students in eastern Newfoundland this week.

Students will be able to gain some hands-on experience in a variety of careers including business studies, practical nursing and mental health and addictions at CNA’s Clarenville campus on Tuesday, September 29th and Thursday, October 1st.

In Gander, Skills Canada will feature a local hair studio owned by former Skills Canada gold medalists Kendra Seymore and Claire Cooper, who will speak about their experience the organization and their experience as business owners.

Other activities scheduled for next week include two Skilled Future events, an entrepreneur feature, in-class presentations, and Dragon’s Lair simulations.
