A big part of Kelsey Drive will be under construction starting today.

New traffic and pedestrian crossing signals will be installed at the Walmart/Home Depot and Canadian Tire/Swiss Chalet intersections.

A new median will be added at the Boston Pizza/TD Bank access to create a right-turn-only movement for vehicles.

The city says construction will happen in phases to minimize traffic disruptions.

However, lane reductions will be in place. The authorities say to expect delays but pedestrian traffic will be maintained.
