With National Queer Day of Action coming up, St. John’s Pride is heading to Parliament.
On Tuesday, the local organization will be in Ottawa to answer the call for renewed 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan.
They will be a part of a delegation of 45 organizations from across Canada bringing together 2SLGBTQI+, international, feminist and labour organizations to call on the federal government to renew and strengthen the Federal Action Plan and ensure it remains supported by the appropriate funding.
