Wildlife officials are seeking information from the public following a moose poaching incident in western Newfoundland.
On September 24, the carcass of a female adult moose was discovered on Camp 185 Resource Road, about 5 km east of the White’s Road intersection – not far from Gallants.

If convicted, the maximum fine for wasting a big game animal is $25,000 or three months prison time.
