Vaccination clinics will be available across the province next week for people aged 75 or older who want to get an RSV vaccine.
RSV is a respiratory virus that can have serious effects on young children and older adults.
The province recently expanded the criteria for those eligible to receive a publicly-funded dose of the vaccine. That also includes newborns, who will be offered the vaccine before they leave the hospital.
Vaccine clinics will be offered next Tuesday through Sunday at various locales province-wide.
People who are homebound and unable to travel can book a home visit.
After next Sunday, vaccinations can still be obtained through public health, pharmacies, and family physicians.
Appointments can be booked online or by calling 1-833-951-3884. Those who are homebound can also call that number to arrange a home visit.
