Two people have been hospitalized for burns and smoke inhalation following a fire 1:30 this morning at a home in the east end of St. John’s.
Paul Grandy, Acting Platoon Chief with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department, says they were called to the scene around 1:30 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flame coming from the bungalow-style house on Newfoundland Drive.
