Calling all BBQ fans: the Canadian Progress Club begins a three-day run of Ribfest in St. John’s this evening.
Steve Puddister with the CPC says there is something for everyone. There will be three ribbers who travel the country plus some local food trucks for folks who may not be into barbecue chicken and ribs.
Puddister says there will be lots of live entertainment, with headliners including Abbey Road, The 8 Track Favourites and Billy and the Bruisers.
The profits will be staying in the province in support of the Vera Perlin Society and Special Olympics NL.
Admission is $10 per day or $25 for a festival pass which can be purchased in advance at stjohnsribfest.com.
