Eastern Health is now offering appointments to all grade four, six and nine students who require immunizations until August 21st.
Eastern Health says that immunization clinics are currently being set up in schools across the metro region with proper infection prevention measures in place such as enhanced cleaning, COVID-19 screening questionnaires and the implementation of mandatory face mask usage while in the building.
Public Health will be contacting the parents or guardians of students to book the appointments.
Parents or guardians with questions or who have concerns they may have missed a call for an appointment are asked to contact their local public health office.
