Questions and uncertainty remain for international students at Memorial University wondering what the year ahead will look like.

Hasam Basemah of Syria is the executive director of external affairs, communications and research at MUNSU, and is completing his degree in quantum physics and math.

He says most international students currently outside the country still don’t know if they’ll be able to travel to complete their studies.

Basemah says there hasn’t been a lot of information provided by the federal government for international students on their ability to travel and what their restrictions will be.
